En una primera visión de la vivienda, el visitante ya puede intuir que se trata de un hogar señorial, dónde se harán presentes todos los elementos y ambientes que caracterizan una vivienda noble, i que le dan un carácter tan especial. El reto de la propuesta es conseguir re-habitar este generoso espacio sin que esta acción provoque la pérdida del carácter primigenio. El objetivo de la propuesta es pues, garantizar la conservación de todos los elementos que aportaban riqueza al espacio inicial y conseguir que la nueva arquitectura establezca un buen diálogo entre las nuevas formas de habitar y el legado heredado.

Después de la realización, durante dos años consecutivos, de un taller de arquitectura arbórea en la ciudad de Terrassa, la asociación ANDA-Terrasa junto con la colaboración de Francis Hallé propone un taller de iniciación sobre  la arquitectura de los árboles tropicales.

El taller pretende dinamizar un grupo de trabajo en campo, en la estación de investigación de los Nouragues, situada en la Guayana Francesa. Dicha estación, gestionada por el C.N.R.S. (Centre Nationel de Rechercher Scientific), está compuesta de dos campamentos situados a unos 8 kilómetros de distancia: el campamento Inselberg y el campamento Sant Pararé. Estos, esencialmente destinados a la investigación científica, sirven a su vez de alojamiento y están equipados con materiales y herramientas que permiten realizar con seguridad los trabajos de investigación.
